Traveling with a purpose is different than typical backpacking. Where the journey takes you depends on the people you want to meet, variations in the places you go to see multiple aspects of healthcare, and what you want to learn in each place. This leads you from top hospitals in the biggest cities to rural health units in beautiful remote areas. This is then balanced with the personal things you want to see and experience.
The craziest thing is the generosity I have experienced along the way. People take time to share their experiences with me and even accommodate me while I travel. There is something beautiful about helping each other achieve our dreams, especially when our dreams are to benefit others. I will be paying it forward for a long time to make up for everything! This is not such a bad thing to live by 🙂
